Many thanks for the information Angela and the work you've put into getting it ~ very interesting and helpful. The blue colour in my picture of the figure is stronger/brighter than it is in reality ~ the colour of the bowl is more accurate and similar to other pieces of Jobling which I've seen on the internet.
Any idea if the bowl is likely to be original to the frog and therefore by Jobling too?
Thanks again, John.

I have not seen that bowl in the Jobling catalogue I have and think it is more likely to be Czech in origin. On the Black Poppy site Sue has it as unknown. http://www.black-poppy.co.uk/Miscellaneous_&_Unknown_-_Centrepieces_&_Frogs/photo2416.htm
In the Rosice catalogue the bowl shown with the Ballerina figure has quite plain panels (that is no pattern on the panels like yours) with a scalloped rim.

Hi
I was at an antique centre in Stamford earlier this year and saw the same ballerina and bowl in green.I was always used to seeing the ballerina bowl in either a Jobling fircone bowl or flower bowl so it had me stumped. The green was exact between figure and bowl.
Again makes me wonder if its Rosice? Do you have a pic of the Rosice page you just mentioned please?
Many thanks Nige

Hi
Would be wonderful if you could email it to me please?
Am I right in thinking that there is some Libochovice glass on that CD?
Thanks x
