Newbie needs help!!
« on: April 28, 2007, 03:56:09 PM »
Hello. First time I've posted here - this site was recommended to me. And I'm very impressed  :) Sorry to make my first post a call for help, but I picked up this (in my opinion) gorgeous vase and can't decide if it's Murano or Bohemian/Czech. Of course, I could be completely wrong, which wouldn't surprise me as I have an untrained eye as yet, so any suggestions as to it's origins would be most appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Does it glow bright green under a UV light? The sort of fuzziness of the green at the front indicates to me that it might.

I have no idea to be honest! I think the fuzzy green-ness may be due to my picture taking  ;D
All I can tell you is that it's very heavy and is 11 inches tall.
