Dartington expert needed for help on FT2 posy
« on: July 19, 2008, 09:02:20 PM »
I think know what I have. It's A Dartington FT2 posy but it's in a pale amber. I think it was destined to be Flame but it was never heat struck because when I shine a UV light on it there is a bright orange glow, which I think is caused by cadmium, the colourant used for Flame. Has anyone come across this colour before? It has plenty of base wear and feels just like other Dartington I've handled, so I don't think it's a repro

I answered my own question by accidentally opening the right page at the back of Dartington Glass the First Twenty Years. It's kosher and described as rare  ;D
