Little Green Candle Glass
« on: October 19, 2008, 09:27:41 AM »
Hi, I found this with a label.  It appears to be a candle stand for a taper candle.  Not sure if is very old, but the little glass (old or new) sure (kinda) reminds me of those old glass insulators.....

The label looks like it says *upper Canada ____& candle makers*.  Just thought I would post....FYI

It also looks as if the label admits that the item was made in Spain - and yes it does have that telltale colour of recycled glass which is a Spanish speciality.

Thank you Bubbles for that...

Looks like they been in around for a while, so I can only guess as it must be sometime in the era.  Thanks, and I love that it has that look of old glass insulators look as a candle holder.
