Tiny bottles what for though?
« on: September 25, 2009, 07:39:27 PM »
Hello all I have acquired two baby bottles both with stoppers but not sure they were meant as a match.  The bigger of the two bottles, the stopper locks in this one also has a number 30 on the bottom and another mark but cannot work it out.  Someone has put a home made sticker on it which states Maldives.  The little bottle has a number 15 and has a homemade sticker saying Lybie which I believe is Africa.  Both have concaved bases.  What were they for a tiny tipple maybe but it must have been really tiny!  Any info at all appreciated.

I'd say medicine bottles from the 30s. The ml contents on the bottle are sort of a giveaway.

Maybe a doctor used them to bring home samples of rare viruses and hence the labelling. >:D
