Dear Ivo, metal: I knew, that was why I named it. Ikora was a trade mark and not only multilayered glass.
Guess we shall have to wait for vol. III of
Burschel/Scheiffele Ikora lamps
Believe it or not, I bought this lamp from Jan Kilian as Ikora Unica  8)

It could perhaps be made at Glasfachschule Prof. ?Eiff?, Stuttgart who made a joint Stiftung with WMF in 1921 - followed by WMF's NKA
Neue Kunstgewerbe Abteilung

Vol. 1 of Burschel/Scheiffele also shows an etched vase named Ikora without several layers of glass ...

Some more Ikora people here on the board who could help further  :?:
Thank you!
Pamela
Experience teaches that anyone who begins to collect in any field can feel a change in his soul. He becomes a joyful man filled with a deeper empathy, and a more open understanding moves his soul.
Alfred Lichtwark (1852-1914)
