Hmmm interestiing, thanks Christine. So are there other makers of this shape other than Bagley and Crown? I know that the Bagley Equinox shape also exists in ceramic (as my Mother has one), so was it a generic mould which was sold to several different companies rather than odd colours being made by one company? Or both scenarios are possible???
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

Well, there was that unknown Belgian maker who copied the Elf posy, that Christine saw. I think the story with ceramic copies was that they've made moulds using the glass as an original, rather than used a glass mould for a ceramic shape?

...   3061* — I can't find Bowey & Parsons at present, so please would someone fill in the missing letter.   I know it's 3061C for the cupped version.

It's 3061, without a suffix, "C" only being added for the cupped version.

...   There is one further Bagley piece, possibly one of the small posy vases like Ocean, that regularly turns up in this purple / amethyst colour.   Can anyone provide enlightenment?   ...

It's the Fantail posy, illustrated in this colour on p131 of my 2004 edition of Bowey & Parsons.

btw my "missing" Bowey & Parsons was in the book box where it should be!
