balloons like this with ruby coloured bowls abound - and I peer at all of them looking for a wfrs. example. When I saw this one I thought is was wfrs. Saphire Blue, so paid a couple of quid, then got home and realized that the real thing doesn't have a knop :ooh: However, it is reasonably quality, with a ground rim, optic moulding, and this lovely blue - althought there is no colour in the stem or foot. about 6.5/8inches - 168mm tall. Flat underside (no ground or snapped pontil) and very little wear. I suspect wfrs. produced the ruby bowls only. Probably onto a loser, but if anyone does recognize the piece, would like to hear, and thanks for looking. cheers.
