Blue Millefiori Jug. ? Maker?
« on: December 07, 2010, 01:24:49 AM »
I have had this lovely blue Millefiori jug for a couple of years, and I keep thinking I might sell it as I don't collect jugs, but then the sun comes out and shines through it, and I think Heh he,  it is so pretty. :sun:

Is there any way I can tell the maker?  Toso perhaps?  :rah:  It has gold aventurine in the clear glass twist handle and a reasonably well finished pontil mark.

One thing I am not is a technical wizard..... but, your photos are the wrong way up because Picasa is showing you the photos rotated but is not actually rotating the original image (if that makes any sense). I use Picasa too but only for uploading to my albums, I use a different photo browser and editor to rotate my images, etc (it came with my camera). You will need to find the option (in Picasa or when you download the images from your camera to your computer) which will allow you to 'rotate the actual image'.

Technical wizards are just the people who have read the instructions (and remember them). ;D

Not to be confused with Anne, who of course is Da Tekniqual Wizzerd (extrordinaire)....

Hi Rosie I use Picassa and find it easy to use just click on the photo then click on edit at the right hand side takes you into Picnik and you can rotate, crop the photo lighten or darken then gives you an option to replace it with the original or make a new copy. Have a practice believe me if I can do it anyone can :-[
