Icy Textured Screw Top Bottle
« on: April 13, 2011, 12:29:26 PM »
Hi, Would any of you experts be able to identify the maker of this bottle for me please?  It looks like a Tapio Wirkkala piece.  It was given to me for Xmas 1975.  Height with lid on is 22cm., 16.5cm without lid and the circumference measures 27.5cm.  It has vertical wavey ribbon like ridges and the base has very faint ripples.  The lid has a plastic threaded stopper which has 'MOD. PAT. 203.537' printed on the base of it.  As always, any and all information is greatly appreciated.  Many thanks  Amaya
