Topic: Need help to ID this footed glass bowl - ID = Cristallerie Oberursel

Hello to All,
this is my first post here. i need help to ID this bowl.
bought it in Germany, so might be a german maker.
it has a golden and iridescent top and a polished pontil.
stands 9,5cm tall and 22,5cm in diamater.
could not identify it up to now...

I never would have thought that these pieces have been produced this late in the 1980s...
thought it is 1950s stuff...

The date´s quite surprising indeed. These pieces had been annoying me for quite a while until I
finally found my labelled one.

Nice collection in your album BTW. Don´t be shy to post further unkown pieces.

Yes, we can always use more collectors here who like modern glass, especially when it includes postwar German glass!  :girlcheer:  I already posted a comment on Picasa I'm afraid without considering whether you'd like that...

Your wonderful collection has had me in tears....I was just off to bed, and thought I would have a last look to see if there were any new postings...and yours was there.....the  footed bowl is beautiful,  but your Picasa  Album encapsulates averything that is special about Art Glass, Pottery and Ceramics.....pure talent, unfolding beautiful shapes and colour, balanced and imaginative pieces..........I am truly blown away........thank you for sharing those with us, and I am so pleased that Dirk was able to identify your lovely iridescent bowl.

Oh well, so much fantastic reaction on my collection....i'm really thankful !
of course, please post and comment all pieces you like to ..!!
Thats why im here, to learn more and, if possible to share pictures and knowledge..
I just put the Bitossis in to have it documented. Shure it is not WGP. And not Fat Lava in special, but coulourful european midcentury ceramic. Probably i should think about my album arrangement..
Will ask for more and look around here in the future for sure..
