Hello all,

I picked this purple bowl up recently, it looks like the Skrdlovice Andromeda bowl, but dose not seem to have enougth swirls/ridges, Ive seen Zelezny Brod pictures which look similar in shape but not in colour. It seems that the uranium is sommerso, and only on the underside. Bowl rim measures 22cm by 17cm, base is 7cm x 5.5cm and is 9cm tall, weight is 1.3kg. Any ideas welcome and thanks in advance.    Simon

Hi Simon,
I´d say Skrdlovice; the colours are quite similar to my vase:

I agree with Dirk that it has more of a Skrdlovice feel to the shape than ZBS or Chribska. Even if it's not Andromeda, it could be a similar looking shape from the 50s-60s.
