Swarovski Glass Figurines ?? I think so ?? Maybe ??
« on: October 13, 2011, 03:53:03 AM »
 Hi there:

Found a few Crystal Animals Figures here at the thrift store for a song and a dance ......Cheap !!!

Some do have marks on them but when I look for mark for Swarovski I find a Swan logo -- not this one.  Anyone know about these Crystals, or the Figurines, or Mark?  I had to have them as they *fit* in all the little *empty* spaces in my Glass Cabinet -- which is limited.....lol

Thanks...........aren't they Sweet!!  I think they were like 8 pieces I bought!!

Rose, sorry, I'm a bit confused...  have they all got that mark on them?
The mark appears to be the old "SC" Swarovski logo which means your items were made before 1988.  Some interesting information here.

Yes I agree, definitely the original Swarovski logo. They sell for more too as the early ones are more collectable.

There's a great site for checking Swarovski silver crystal at http://maryannsgiftshop.stores.yahoo.net/. Mary Ann's sells Swarovski at the lowest prices of any store, so it will give you good information about the design and a low value of it. Of course, much of the value of Swarovski is in the box. If it doesn't have the original box, the value is drastically reduced.

Thanks, all have the older logo then...

Will check out that site.  Thanks

Nope....No boxes, but these little critters are not going anywhere.....lol.  They fit well in all those little spaces in the Glass Cabinet.    I think these are the Mini ones as they are small.

I bought all 8 of them for about $ 30.00.  Here is the rest of the herd.

~ Turtle
~ Oyster with Pearl
~ Seal, I think
~ Train (and) caboose (count as 2)

Then the others one posted:
~ Mouse with Silver Tail
~ Sparrow, with Silver Bill
~ Duck, with Silver Bill
