Thanks to you all!   Very surprised Rosie, especially considering the time posted.   With reference to the basket vase, surely they should be detailed plans or even a catalogue drawn up prior to Sowerby's closing down don't you think?..................   I am just curious as to the limited amount of information obtainable on this particular piece.

Catalogues get thrown away when manufacturers and wholesalers have no need for them. There is documentation for this range, just not for this shape. It may have been a special order for somewhere like Woolworths, in which case you can't find out without seeing the order books.

I find it a good time to catch the USA, Canadian and Australian questions Otis,  so I rarely go to bed before 1am,  and have even been known to stay up much later to snipe a bid on eBay !

If I can get to bed before 4:00am most mornings that is early.  I tend to spend a lot of time browsing for information on items I have purchased. I don't really find a lot of time to buy on the internet.  I don't know what it is, but I seem to buy items that requires more research than anticipated.  I am currently inundated with purchases and I think it will take me at least a year before I get through them all and that's if I can control myself not to buy anymore. ;D.   I think I have become an addict.  :help:

I just can't help it now. Even on holiday I will disapear into the world of "got to get my hands on some glass".  Surely that's not right Rosie? ::)
