Fenton Brandy Glass???
« on: April 18, 2012, 11:21:17 PM »
Pretty sure this is Fenton, but it is not signed anywhere.
8" tall x 4" top x 19" around x 4" base
The color is a deep pink rose, but I see gold hues in it. Really pretty.
Is it Fenton? What circa & pattern?
Help please.......................... :P

Definitely NOT Fenton. This looks like crystal that has been painted with a "lustre" finish. The Louie Glass Co. in Weston, West Virginia, did this sort of thing, but there are also examples from overseas. Is the floral a decal?

Hi, no the floral is hand painted. The paint is apparently thick and there is gold gilt accents. Thanks for your help. I appreciate any more information you may have :)

I will look into Louie Glass and the Czech. Any pointers in the Czech area? I'm not familiar with it.  :o
