Modern Mold Blown? Vase. ID = Aseda Glasbruk

I guess this vase would be considered mold blown, though there is no pontil or anything.  It's one of those hard to clean things with the recessed, molded areas.  I have no idea who made it or when.  It might even be a contemporary piece.  What do you think?

Aseda Glasbruk of Sweden, designed by Bo Borgstrom, first one I've seen in clear glass, scroll about a third of the way down this page for more examples:

Interesting.  Thanks Wayne! I never would have suspected Swedish or Scandinavian.  I thought it was Polish or something.  It was a completely blind purchase.  Thanks again!

I'm not sure exactly which year, but Borgstrom joined Aseda in the 1960's, and they closed in the 70's, so 60's/70's is a safe bet.  :)

Textured maybe, bark no. Bamboo is reasonable as that is what it depicts. Would you describe a texture that is meant to resemble stone as a bark vase m?

John I didn't know it was meant to resemble stone?  and I am only going by the information given by Swedish Mom on the thread I linked to.  I believed from previous posts that Swedish Mom had quite a bit of information on Aseda and Bo Borgstrom  :-\

This one resembles bamboo m, I just wouldn't call it a bark vase.

:-\ I think we have crossed lines here - I thought from your post and your question, that you knew for some reason that it was supposed to resemble stone.
well I suppose it depends what the bark looks like and as I say, Swedishmom was quite clear in the post I linked to that that was what it was called so I have always called them that.  I definitely wouldn't say this resembled bamboo though
this is how I think of bamboo
