Cheap mass made vase ? Metal cased, iridescent
« on: June 23, 2012, 12:15:19 PM »
Don't you hate it when vase you bought turns up and isn't as good in your hands as the pics show...

Anyway, I guess Im wondering if this is a Made In China type vase? Not particularly heavy, what makes me wonder is the metal that is around it is quite light and does not seem great quality. Its quite a large vase...23 cm high. The white parts you can 'feel'. Its textured I guess you could say.

Any thoughts on this vase?

Is number 396 a bit hopeful of me showing any similarities? :D

I suspect you might be clutching at straws, sorry. The metal work on your piece is very ordinary, modern-looking, generic twisted brassy stuff - not "designer".
I'm afraid I'm pretty clueless though. :'(

Hmm, I was afraid of that. I bought it from the U.S. so maybe I should be checking some store brochures there :)
