MID CENTURY ASHTRAY MARK ID PLEASE HELP!
« on: February 25, 2013, 12:25:37 PM »
I am not a glass expert, just love glass, and collect anything that catches my eye... so please forgive if I use wrong terminology. This ashtray has me a bit confused and would appreciate any info regarding:

ID the marking - if it is a marking (could it just be flaw in glass)? Seems to be embossed. Do not know what is the top or bottom and either way I can not decipher the initials or marking.

AND

Is it pressed, molded or blown glass? The bottom is textured yet the 4 creases are smooth - as if ground and polished.  The black confetti type markings seem to be under the clear smooth glass cased top. All 4 sides, edges, are black.

So happy I found this site and am enjoying reading all the posts. Thank you in advancefor any info!!
