Art Deco French Opalescent Vase, ID Maker
« on: March 12, 2013, 06:31:21 PM »
Hello,

Does anyone know who made this vase? I have seen it attributed to R Lalique, Sabino, and Etling so far....

Many thanks,

I do not see any Opalescent glass at the site you reference. They do make reproductions. I think this is original.

It says : please find our whole range of products in our catalogue, this is just a presentation page, in my opinion. I presume they did more than just five vases.

This model's been attributed to several houses, but never been seen in a catalogue or signed except 'FRANCE'  to my knowledge....

I've also seen this pattern with a 'Vianne' mark.

Yes that's possible, but as you say, i thought they're usually marked, besides the word 'France' no other mark's mentioned in this thread, that's why I thought of LdlV.

Another vase that can be found in both catalogues... just need to scroll down, I'm not sure I can post this image here.
