Chance Glass Tray?
« on: May 01, 2013, 11:46:22 PM »
This is a pretty typical Chance shape and size. I haven't got my book so can't check this pattern. Anyone able to help.

It does indeed look like the earlier, pre-1970 Chance Longboat tray, but I have also come across a similar shape that also featured an unknown pattern.

To save you reaching for that essential volume  ;) the size of the Longboat trays are around 36x14cm and 34x14cm. I think this one will be shorter, according to the photo I already have that was forwarded by another reader. If so, then it's probably East or West German or Dutch.
