Blown Ribbed Bottle with Stopper
« on: July 19, 2013, 05:35:27 PM »
Blown crystal bottle.   6-1/4" (15.cm)  tall, approximately 3-1/4" (9.5cm) wide at it's widest.  There are 10 ribs on the stopper and 9 ribs on the bottle itself.   Bottle is an oval spape.  The base is ground and polished flat with some wear but not enough I would say it's old.  While the stopper and neck are ground, it's not a perfect air tight fit meaning the glass on glass final fitting work you would see on a better bottle was not done.

Any ideas where it came from.  Lets start with a continent.  I think we can safely rule out Antartica  ;).

TIA
-Buck

Pics below.  Yes I know the base picture is useless.
