Yes, there is some age to it, perhaps '80s.
It is a barrel or egg shaped vase, not an inside-out, which are bowling-ball shaped.
In the early stuff, it was completely inconsistent about whether or not a piece got marked. They were struggling with staff shortages and trying to keep enough stock on the shelves to sell.
Things only got marked if there was somebody available who had time and the equipment to do it, but mostly, as soon as something was annealed, it went straight out into the shop.
That's why you'll find uncut "Ice-cut" lollipops, inconsistent base finishing or lack of a mark.
Later, when labels were used, marks became an even more unneccessary extra bit of work to be carried out on a piece.
