Joe Poisomething
« on: July 16, 2014, 01:25:46 PM »
Little vase with enamel decoration of cooing pigeons on fancy twigs in a monochrome enamel style I've only ever seen used in Sweden.
In tiny lettering it says "joe Poimoi" or something. The Joe Poi is rather clear, the rest could be anything.
Hoo's he, then?

Looks like it ends "ivi" but a clearer photo would help. Signatures, huh?  ;D

I wonder if it should read something like "Poiwers" or "Pointers" ???
(considering the "Joe")
Not that anything making sense comes up when googling those names...

Michael

Pointiff?

Is the enamel painted laquer? Or has it been heat-fixed to the surface?

Could be Poiveti but googling that reveals nothing of interest. Is it Joe at the beginning though?

My guesses on the last name (??):  The N looking letter could be a N, or a V or even a small R - I think -- So I did not list that letter better as it could be interchanged with 3 different letter

Poinera.....so could interchange that middle letter to 3 other letter -- ??

Poi_ere
Poi_eer
Pio_ear
Pio_ave
Pio_eve
Pio_eer
Pio_ave

Piomer
Piomar

All just suggestions...

**Could the first name not be Joe but ----->  TAO as a suggestion???

Maybe the last name is something like :   Poinda, sure hard to tell
