Your new title is much better, I suspect you reposted in order to change it?
If you ever do want to change something like that again, (but as you are learning so much about the board right now, I'm sure you won't need to) just ask a moderator to change things for you, in your original thread, behind the scenes. :)
We have lovely helpful moderators with great big pokey sticks to prod at computery stuff here!

Only Anne is allowed to use the big "pokey stick". I have to make do with a thing that looks like a cotton bud.

Got the tequnikal pokers mixed up, sorry, Kev and Anne. I'm truly ignorant about "behind the scenes" stuff.

Not that I know much about Italian or old glass, I'd say these are quite possibly FT?
But somebody will know. :)

But you're very skilled with that cotton bud, Kev!  :-*

Eek! :D

They are not Fratelli Toso, they look quite modern, those are fairly distinctive canes, try an image search on google, enter something like "murano millefiori" to look for matches, might take a while but it could be fun.

Sorry for frightening you.
I was mildly suspicious of the handles and feet, but the bodies looked complex enough...

I think the millefiori canes (murrine) were from the Moretti company (now known as Effetre).

If I am right, it means that the vases could have been made by any of one of many Murano companies or possibly not even in Murano. For a date of the vases I would suggest first half of 20th century.

I am not aware of Chinese products using Moretti / Effetre canes. But ... ?

Modern canes, some showing very similar colours and patterns to the older Moretti ones, from Effetre can be seen at: http://www.effetremurano.com/prodotti.html Top right of the page for "Millefiori"
