Really striking piece.
« on: August 24, 2014, 11:36:56 PM »
This one is just striking, clean, and complex, with deceptively simple lines.

The shape is a sloping rounded sides cone. Almost a bell shape, with a faceted view window.

The interior consists of translucent pink "bubble" in a matching shape, which is inside a larger translucent blue "bubble" again of a matching shape.

the entire piece is encircled with interior thin horizontal purple stripes, except where they were cut away for the view window.

The bottom is very odd for an American maker, it's deeply waffle, or diamond cut. It makes me wonder if it's European.

It is signed on the side bottom edge, but I don't recognize the signature.

3-1/4 tall 2-3/4 across the bottom.

Any ideas on this one?
