Don't know where to start....
« on: January 24, 2015, 05:18:36 PM »
Hello
I have several pieces of glass by various artists (Benny Motzefeldt, Anthony Stern, Siddly Langley) and some totally unidentified, which I need to find a way of selling. Alas, I don't know where to start. I wonder if anyone could give me some advice on how to get the best price for them. They are all part of my late brother's estate; who was an avid collector of ceramic, glass and art.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thank you
Serafina

Welcome to GMB, Serafina!
May I suggest to take several pictures of those unidentified items, including base shots. Please start a new thread for every single item. You can add up to four images, if more are available, just reply to your own request.
We do not give values, but are voluntarily sharing our knowledge. Once identified, you may of course offer these glasses also in the Glass Market Place here

The one above is a very good image of a very nice bowl! Just go ahead like that :)

Experience teaches that anyone who begins to collect in any field can feel a change in his soul. He becomes a joyful man filled with a deeper empathy, and a more open understanding moves his soul.
