Stevens & Williams Harrach or Moser
« on: February 24, 2015, 09:11:42 PM »
Smokey brown 10 ribbed body vase with 3 blue applied feet. Applied foliage green leaves and pink flowers.
I first thought Moser or Harrach but know Stevens and Williams did similar type of vases with applied flowers.

Height 9.25" or 23.5cm
Weight 1150gm
Thanks for any thoughts

Roy

With a flat polished rim I'd say not S&W's as the pieces I've seen id'd as theirs tended to have wavy more ornate rims, that is if the attributions were correct in the first place, ::) ;D ;D

I'd veer closer to Harrach

The ones that 'appear' as Moser are almost certainly all on Harrach blanks - just enamelled/finished at Moser

It could be Harrach but the flowers are a bit odd - Harrach hot applied flowers tend to be opaque

I'd go with almost anyone else - French, British or Bohemian  -copying a common style

sorry

M
