A new find - M B Stonor Studios, Australia
« on: April 15, 2015, 09:30:53 AM »
Hi All,
I thought I would post a picture of this paperweight that just arrived. I think it is a lovely weight and a very good version of its title..."A sleeping Serpent".

I had never heard of this maker before but it is by Bernard Stonor who lives on Kangaroo Island in South Australia. Check out his web site at

http://www.mbstonorstudios.com/index.html or his facebook page at www.facebook.com/mbstonor

Cheers,

Tony

Some Bernard Stonor perfume bottles were shown earlier on the GMB:

Hi Trevor,
thanks for that. He makes some really inventive items now but he did make some quite classical paperweights a few years ago it seems.

Cheers,

Tony
