Can someone help me for artist name, country or studio
« on: June 23, 2016, 07:51:54 AM »
The seller told me (see below)

Unica scale early 20th century.

height 9,5cm
28cm diameter dish
Diameter foot 9cm

The scale has a wide mark pontil on the underside.
There is one small " spot " in the uncolored and one spot of red color (probably a " contamination" of metal.
Check out the photos while the whole looks like a combination of a pebble beach.
No chips , cracks or pieces off. Only minor wear.
I bought it in north of Belgium.
Many thanks for reading my post, i hope someone can help me futher.

A antique dealer in glass told me that this is an early scale of Murano , he had once a similar pattern in the past.
Is there anyone who can confirm that ? ore in his opinion can go ? .
More specific references or opinions are always welcome .
with kind regards, Frank

Welcome to the forum Frank.

I am sorry that I can not tell you anything about your bowl, I do not recognise it. Hopefully someone else may be able to help.

John
