Thin bodied, vaseline glass, spiral bud vases
« on: October 30, 2016, 03:48:57 PM »
These were flea market finds, $4 for both.  They are vaseline glass and glow nicely under UVb.
The spiral pattern goes from right to left, or clockwise, if you look from top to bottom.  There are several spiral type patterns (Hocking Glass, Imperial Glass, US Glass, etc) and I'm having a time telling them apart.

The measurements are as follows:
7-5/8" tall
1-1/2" mouth diameter
1-15/16" base diameter
3 ounce each weight

No maker's marks.  The bases have faint turning rings.
Thanks,
Annette

Hi Annette, welcome to the GMB.

The people who may know something about your items might not see your thread for several days or weeks or more. We therefore ask that bumping messages is kept to a minimum and not before one month.

I suspect your vase is from the USA. You might be better joining here http://chataboutdg.com/forums/ and asking. One of their members specialises in spiral ribbed stuff. They also have this searchable gallery http://chataboutdg.com/gallery/
