Thomas Webb Toothpick Holder/Posy Vase
« on: January 30, 2017, 12:42:59 AM »
I have two small posy vases or toothpick holders. The burmese example on the right was definitely made by Thomas Webb. I am wondering if anyone has any information on the Vaseline opalescent example on the left. They are identical in shape, size and both have an identical polished pontil on the bottom. The only pieces in this shape and size that I have seen are by Webb, Mt. Washington and Phoenix Glass Co. I don't believe this was made by the last two companies. I'm assuming Webb, but would appreciate any thoughts. Both are 2 3/4" tall.

I think that would be a very reasonable assumption.
