ID and age on this Georgian ,Victorian or latter Tazza
« on: July 25, 2006, 08:04:05 PM »
Hi

any information on this Tazza I bought today, I just thought it looked quite old and in the style of Georgian glass quite plain ,as I am no expert on this type of glass I am unsure as th the age it may be , it weighs nearly 1.3kgs and has adiameter of 10.5 inches and height of 5.75 inches, rough unpolished pontil mark to base and wear only to extreme rim , there does appear to be striations lines on the top of tazza and the top bowl of tazza is not level but seems to be ridged and concaved to the center

thanks roy
