Based on the millefiori I'm voting Murano; but the facetting, closepack, swirly base, and pink tint to the globe hint at Scottish to me.

Either way, can anyone suggest who the maker is please? The small mark on the bottom doesn't contain a id cane, and I can't see one in the closepack either. I may need to go to SpecSavers though ;)

If there are any features that anyone would like a closer look at, I'll do my best to photograph them - the facetting makes it hard to get a uniform light on the core though

Hi AdrianW,

This is from Murano made by Galliano Ferro. The marbrie design is somewhat uncommon. Galliano Ferro made some very high quality and interesting paperweights.
