Indeed, until we find otherwise, Michael. Incidentally I've been going through old Walther stuff on Pressglas-Korrespondenz and noticed that after the merger of Walther with Sächsische Glasfabrik in 1932 there are several items in the 1930s catalogues with this hammered pattern. I wonder if that's an area worth exploring.

It seems that there are few if any known examples of Sächsische Glasfabrik catalogues, but comparing the pre-1932 and the post-merger designs it has been possible to compile a list of which patterns probably relate to which pre-merger glassworks. See https://www.pressglas-korrespondenz.de/archiv/pdf/pk-2006-3w-03-mb-walther-export-1932.pdf for the list.
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

Here's a close-up of a Walther Atlas vase. The hammered finish is smooth and clear and a slightly different shape to yours which also has what I'd call an orange peel effect.
