Clearly signed, but I can't make sense of the name.  I've tried variations on a theme but without success.  Does anyone recognise it please.
Its incredibly heavy weighing 1106g and 4.5" in height, with gold inclusions.  The seller reckons its Murano but I haven't a clue.
Can anyone decipher the name please?
TIA :)

Hi Anne.  That is not a typical Murano base, or shape, though the aventurine speckle style of the piece is consistent with Murano.  I suspect a small French studio.

Thank you Alan for your suggestion. I suspect its going to be a tricky one to ID but if I find anything further I'll report back.
Its a nice lump of glass, or as my two year old grand daughter calls it a "dragon's egg".  ;)

I don't know how on earth I missed this, except to say my eyesight is not what it was even a year ago  >:(
A signature right at the bottom just above the base, which if I am correct is V.Nason (V. Nason & Cie, Italy).  I've done a search and it matches other V.Nason signatures on the web and also here  https://www.glassmessages.com/index.php?topic=8149.0  However, I'm still stumped by the other signature on the base ???
