Vintage table lamp with glass column
« on: June 09, 2019, 12:20:36 PM »
I have a table lamp base with brass (bronze?) base and top and a glass column, translucent white with blue vertical stripes. There are the remains of a gilded pattern to the glass, badly rubbed. I've taken it apart, as much as possible, and I think that it's a gas gas lamp, rather than electric. I can't see anything at all that would aid identification. Would anyone please be able to suggest any information about the lamp? I suspect that it's early 20th C., probably Continental, though I'm happy to be corrected.
