I've been assuming this is French, or possibly bohemian, it's a really pretty pink opaline with a gold enameled bee design. Looking through some French catalogs from the early 1900s I've had access too I've not seen anything similar, and I haven't found a positive ID in about 3 years.  It measures approximately 6" tall x 4 3/4" across the top.

That's beautiful and beautifully made and finished.  It looks like a quality piece.
I think because of the way it is made - mold blown and cut from the top - my first thought would not be French.

The gilding is also exquisitely and perfectly done.  Love it.
How heavy is it?

The quality of the glass making and the way it is made remind me very much of my lilac opaline vase in this thread.  Ivo said in the thread that it might have been made by Hoyerswerda.

However , the shape of yours and the gilded band and bees make me think more Bohemian maker and perhaps a different period to mine.  Like Josephinenhutte maybe?

I think your first instincts were right and it is French. It's the colour and finish of the glass and the rich, gold colour of the gilding which makes me think so. Also it's simply decorated, not over elaborate. It's probably wishful thinking but Baccarat springs to mind.
