Glass OCD
« on: October 30, 2020, 09:57:14 AM »
Hi all,

Lots to learn, and I will be buying a display cabinet for my new house!
I would say, I know what 75% of my glass is, but I have some reading to do.

Kind regards

Stacey

It all looks perfectly normal to us.  ;D ;D ;D
We do have a very, very long sticky thread (in four parts) for showing off collections, if you're interested in seeing just how normal you are.  8)

Hi Sue,

Many thanks and I would need one big cabinet to show it all off, I need to master the art of photography first and read more of the threads.
I will also start adding my glass to the thread you have shared.

Tomorrow, I am having a double hand operation so I will not be able to type much for a week or so.
Carpal Tunnel and having tendons repaired.

I must admit I do need some help with some of my glass in identifying it, and some of it will be going to the charity shop.
I will start collecting again, but not sure what glass yet, Frank Thrower is one of my fav's.

Kind regards

Hi Stacey,

Firstly, I hope that your operation goes well for you and that you have a speedy recovery.

While you are in your "read-only" period for Topic access, I ask that you take a look in our Board Information, Help & Announcements forum for the topic TECHIE TIPS: Why one item per topic? It explains why ID requests for specific items amongst an image of several items can become confusing.

So far your only cases of this are the threads "ID Help Green Vases" and "ID Help Yellow Vases" - don't worry about this for now, your recovery comes first.  :)

Morning Kevin,

No problem, and thank you regarding the operation.
Totally understand, and I will only post one glass picture in the future.

It makes perfect sense.

Kind regards

Stacey

;D Lots of pictures, just one bit of glass.
Wishing you a very speedy recovery. The operation should be over now, at least that bit's behind you.  Be good with your physio - it really matters. :)
