Thick cased vase with side column
« on: November 06, 2021, 02:13:24 PM »
My friend has asked if I recognise this vase design and I've not a clue!  I wondered if anyone here knows what it is?  It's 26.5cm tall so big and chunky. Any id help would be appreciated!

sorry, I've not a clue either, but it has the looks of sommerso, so a possibility it may have a Murano art glass connection.        I'm sure someone here will be able to offer better information.     It's attractive.

Thank you for your input Paul, and thank you John for the info about where it was made - I'll pass it on to my friend.

Sommerso is accurate yes, and from the photos it looks well made, the colours are nicely controlled and well defined. Not all glass coming out of China is hastily thrown together, plenty of good quality stuff too.
