Book 9 shows that the Northwood mould found its way to Fenton, who did a short run of reproductions around 1978–85, so the mould may still be in their store.
Here is an example of a similarly sized Northwood
Opaline Brocade item to yours, Keith, illustrating the major differences — note:
the vertical completeness of the pattern, probably impossible with Walsh Opaline Brocade of this size,the pattern stopping abruptly at the edge of the base, rather than continuing down to the pontil mark, andthe rim crimp — Walsh's hand crimp would have been slightly finer and slightly lop-sided.Also
here is a larger example of the Northwood production, showing that the pattern was being stretched beyond its best.
