Christine and Anne,
Many thanks for your help.
I take it that the 3030 refers to everything in the diamond pattern, and has nothing to do with the shapes?
Has anyone been to Pontefract museum to see the room of Bagley exhibits?
I might do that next week. It's only 50 miles up the road.
Anne, does your ad give a date and pattern number? I tried to see myself, but the photo isn't detailed enough.
I looked through the other ads you put up on the GG and managed to confirm some jugs that I suspected were by Sherdley. Thanks for that, too!
http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-2949BTW, one of my jugs in this stepped pattern is cut with a trailing vine. Do you know whether Sherdley may have produced and sold cut glass at all, or is it more likely that a third party used their blanks?
Questions, questions. Always more questions...
Cheers,
Chris
