I'll get the ball rolling......

Here's mine....

Fake Signature....http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-7889

Vase.................http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-7888

We bought it a couple of years ago and Ron Wheeler said this was the worst attempt he'd seen up to then, so we might as well start at the bottom  ;)  Funny thing is it's on one of the largest and best examples of the Fish vase I've seen that was very, very likely made by Michael anyway.

Hi all, the seller of the pink vase has kindly given permission to use his photo also, see comment at the bottom of the listing.

Forgot to add, would someone be willing to supply a real sig for comparison? or would that also give the faker's the information they need for a more accurate sig  ::)

Thanks Sue. I've added the image and text etc for you here:    http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-7905

I've also enabled the URI upload function for images to GG, which means that where you find an image like this that we have permission to save for reference you can copy the URL of the image itself ( found by right clicking the image and looking at Properties, or in Firefox just right click the image and select View Image, e.g. like this one was at http://i24.ebayimg.com/04/i/000/a9/30/c967_1.JPG ) and paste it into the URI box on the Upload File screen and GG will go get the image for you from the other site.  The usual file size limits exist so if the image exceeds them you'll need to save a copy to your PC then revise and upload in the normal way. Hope this helps. :)

Sorry for the tardiness in my reply - had pc problems (again!) - anyway, I have a genuine Michael Harris signature and I can take a pretty clear shot if needed - let me know if it's still needed or not.

Pip, yes please. It can be added to the labels and marks albums - there are some other sigs there as well as the more numerous labels and stamps.

Hi Pip, Anne,

It might be worth double checking with Mark Hill and/or Ron Wheeler before posting the image so the forgers dont get everything they need to make perfect copies.

Ron has a photo of a Michael Harris signature on his Circaglass website and, obviously, there is a photograph of a Michael Harris signature in Mark Hill's book so I don't think it would matter greatly if we put one on here - what does everyone else think?
