help needed with unusual iridisent vase

please can anyone help with this vase it is like oil on water or if held up to light a turquoise colour and 8" tall. will try to put pic with this as had hassle just now and they are on a seperate thread. all the best debbie

Hi Debbie,
Just going by the photo, the rim looks a bit bottle like/factory produced,
but more photos may help, rim / base/ are there any mould lines?

I believe it was made by Jackson Brothers, Knottingley: date, post WW2. I have a smoke iridised example and I have seen several others in different colours, all lightly iridised (one of which - I seem to recall - had talcum powder inside and was labelled accordingly). Mine has JBK entwined, moulded on the base and a Reg No which appears to be 905918.

It was blow-moulded (blown into a mould rather than pressed moulded using a plunger).
