Topic: Finely engraved vase signed AE / 81

Here's are impressive vase with a bird of paradise engraving on one side and cut circles with fine 'inciso' type lines. The vase is 9 inches tall quite thick and heavy. It's signed AE / 81. Anyone know who this could be?
