Higgins glass in the UK
Max:
What unusual pieces - I've really enjoyed seeing everyones Higgins glass.
I really REALLY like the General Electric clock on CathyG's site...I'd very much like one of those! Are they terribly expensive? And do they come up for sale very often??

Heres my one piece that has arrived so far, a little ash tray in "Barbaric Jewels" pattern. Really nice as the jewels are all raised.

WOW!!! What a funky piece of glass Paul! And just love everyone else's Higgins pieces
I'm intrigued as to how your ashtray is made Paul? Are the gold patterns actually inside the glass or applied underneath? or screen printed???
Regards - Anne E.B.
Max:
That's lovely Paul. :D I'm determined to join the 'Higgins' club too. :D

It's great stuff and I've got the bug a bit, made of fused glass so the gold is inside. Only wish I could find it in this country as waiting for pieces from across the pond to arrive makes me sooo impatient.
