:D Hello
I'm sorry, I haven't a clue as to identity, but I'd like to ask if the green and amber colours are different colours of glass, or is it glass that gives different colours depending on how you look at it, or what kind of light you are looking at it with?  :?::?::?: :D

David E:
This might be Czech - I have similar cased vases that were identified here before as being so.

Also, does it glow under UV light? It does have a nice green tinge that suggests it might have a uranium content :)

Thanks for comments, though seems this is drawing a blank...Ref. colours.Much depends on the light - in a "flat" light it appears amber, but with sunlight the green shows quite stongly on the knobbles and around the top edge. It's an interesting chunk of glass whatever it is - feels a nice quality to the touch...the VERY frustrating thing is I am sure I've seen something similar on a web sight, but can I find it now..NO!  Anyway, onwards and upwards!

Certainly is a nice piece, and from your comment I would say it probably does have uranium content.

If it helps, here's a photo of my green 'knobbly' vase (that's not uranium)  :)

I forgot to ask, but what sort of base does it have? The knobbly above has a totally ground-flat and polished.
