M + J Guggenheim Ltd Glass vase/pot
« on: March 30, 2009, 03:16:41 PM »
Hi
I have identified this piece of glass through its registration number 764749, which is M + J Guggenheim Ltd 1st june 1931,
now this is either a vase or pot, i did think a drinking glass but I am not sure,  :-\it is a dimple effect, what I was looking for was more information on the maker and as to whether this item is a saleable item, having a reg mark is great, but then I hit a brick wall, cannot find anything on the maker by typing his name on the internet, so I am hoping that someone out there is familiar with the name.

Thank you :)

Hazel

Guggenheim was an importer rather than a glassmaker.

Saw one today, it is a pot. Had a loose fitting lid with similar decoration to the base and a bulbous profile like a closed cup mushroom.
