Thank you Jindrich, I usually take attributions with a grain of salt until I am confident of the information being provided by someone I do not know... especially when it comes to pictures. Usually gives me a direction to look, or a new question to ask. I am new to this board, and my experience with glass from mid century Czech companies is, especially after looking at the images at Picasa Web from several collectors, to say the least.... wanting for a severe level of education..... I am reasonably well educated when it comes to early Bohemian like Loetz, Kralik Rhindskopf..... but I find the Czech glass I am being exposed to, to be gorgeous... and I want to know much much more about it.....
As far as the underside of the vase goes, it has a very large and nicely polished pontil with a ground rim. I have added an image below showing the pontil. I have also added a couple of images that show the colors more true to life.
It was suggested that I ask a moderator to put "Skrdlovice?" in the title of this thread... being new, I am not sure how I do that.... So I will simply ask here to have it done. If there is a different process, could someone please let me know.
Thanks again to everyone for your help with this vase.
