Trapped Bubble ------> Base
« on: May 12, 2010, 04:48:24 PM »
Hi, I believe this to be a candle holder as it is 3.25 High, opening is 4 inches, and base is about 2.80 inches across.  There is an trapped bubble in the base.  Clear, heavy glass.   Any ideas?

Thanks as always.  :)

Hi Rose,
The mushroom bubble at the base makes this piece look Polish... it's very similar to products offered in Krosno's "Prestige" line.

Rose, my dear, please don't misunderstand me...  it was only my guess based on what I've seen...  it could turn out that it's not Krosno... I guess we'll have to wait for one of the many fabulously knowledgable people on GMB to pop in and set us straight.

By the way, I think I'm a bigger bubble-head than you when it comes to glass and the knowledge attached to its identification.  But hey, at least we've got an eye for some nice stuff  ;D
