Here is an image of a genuine "Nailsea type" of 'splattered' bottle - note it was made in Scotland but it is highly likely to have been by glass makers that had been at Nailsea.

oops,,,i just looked and must agree it is pretty poor,,i will have to continue messing around with downsizing,,shame attachment size of 125kb is so low....grrrrrrrrr

 :hiclp: For adding the photos - but... Yours must be a high res camera, because the usual formula isn't working. Now the resolution is too low, and when you expand the pic, it's too pixelated to see the detail. Make the longest side 700 pixels, then reduce the resolution to 90%. If it's still too big, take it down by 2% each attempt. The lower the resolution, the worse the image, and you're better off with a slightly higher res image, but smaller size (700 pixels). If that doesn't work, go back to the original (because the one you'd been working on will be degraded), and take it down to 600 pixels, and save at 95%.

All I do with the pics from my 12MB camera is resize so the longest dimension is 700 pixels and then save as; that works. I don't do anything to the resolution.
